We use two different couriers, Parcelforce and Royal Mail. Parcelforce is now part of the Royal Mail Group.
If you provide your mobile number at the time of ordering, Royal Mail will send you a text on the morning of delivery.
If you are not in, they provide you with options such as leave with a neighbour, delivery to a safe place, delivery to a local post office or re-arrange the delivery date.
Your safe place must follow Royal Mail's guidelines.
This must be a secure, weatherproof and easily accessible location, like a shed, porch or garage, to leave parcels when no one is home, avoiding bins or doorsteps. Drivers may use their discretion for suitable spots.
Please note that neither we or Royal Mail are responsible for parcels that go missing if Royal Mail have followed your requested safe place instructions.
If no one is available when delivery is attempted and the delivery driver cannot find a suitable safe place or does not deem your safe place instructions to be secure, they will normally take the parcel back to the depot and re-attempt delivery the following day.
Please note that we cannot pass on delivery information or instructions to Royal Mail.
